The Spoonful Sessions
Part of it is inspired by our local musicians, part is inspired by soaring concert ticket prices, and part of it comes from a trip to Ireland, particularly the Dingle Record Shop. Ireland's smallest record store found a beautiful way to capture their wealth of music via "Sessions from the Shop."
So we're doing it! We are inviting musicians and performers to our little stage every Saturday at 3pm. We hope that if you want to see more live, local music, or have kids who are learning to play different instruments, or don't know where to take out-of-town guests in the middle of the day, or you're just looking for something fun to do, that you will join us!
The Sessions are just that, not formal concerts. We hope the vibe will fall somewhere between well-honed busking and MTV Unplugged. The Sessions will be free and open to the community, no purchase necessary. Sessions musicians are welcome to sell their merchandise, CDs, and vinyl.
Video of past Sessions can be found on our YouTube channel.
